A Chicago transplant by way of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Claire graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Theatre. She stage managed, set designed, stitched, acted, hung lights, built and painted scenery, and directed. 

Since then, as a director, Claire has been working throughout the Chicago storefront theater scene. Standouts include previously working with Commission Theatre (Director, CLEARING by Beth Hyland), 2nd Story (Assistant Director; forthcoming Director), Something Marvelous (Director, Workshop production of The Storyteller, by Sara Jean Accuardi, Night of New Works 2017 & 2018), The Enthusiasts Theatre Company (Assistant Director, DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, Chicago's first non-equity production), and Northlight Theater with the Chicago History Museum (Director, "New Voices: Festival of Jewish Plays"- KOSHER RECIPE BOOK). She also directed Vienna Juvenile at Chicago Sketchfest for three years in a row! She also took the Sketch Comedy Directing class at Second City, taught by Anthony LeBlanc.

Claire is also active professionally onstage and offstage in different roles with theaters around the city- Halcyon Theatre (Actor, Director, and Costume Designer), Redtwist Theatre (Production Intern, MAN FROM NEBRASKA), American Theater Company (Wardrobe Supervisor, THE ORIGINAL GREASE and RENT), and About Face Theatre (Asst. Stage Manager, THE PRIDE). She was previously the Director of New Play Development with Halcyon Theatre and was on the Artistic Board of Directors for The Enthusiasts Theater Company. She has practical experience in scenic design, scenic painting, and costume design/construction.
